• Organize the FBIT Study Abroad Program Summer 2009 in Chinese University of Hong Kong in cooperation with the Communication Program at UOIT, Summer 2009
• Led the FBIT capstone research students at UOIT to cooperate with start-up companies in Hong Kong Science and Technology Park such as MileSCAN, Sengital and Intuitive Automata as well as local companies in Toronto such as Irwin Toy and HInext, 2008-present
• Led the research team members (Dr. Lalita Narupiyakul and Mr. Thomas Trojer) at the Health Education Research Technology Unit (HETRU) Conference “What Really Works in Educational Simulations for Healthcare” in the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, Oshawa, Canada, November 22, 2008.
• Led the research team members (Dr. Lalita Narupiyakul and Mr. Thomas Trojer) at Open House in the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, Oshawa, Canada, Nov 8, 2008.
• Led the research team members (Dr. Lalita Narupiyakul and Mr. Thomas Trojer) at the Technology Showcase in the IBM CASCON 2008, Toronto, Canada, Oct 27-29, 2008.
• Led the research team members (Dr. Lalita Narupiyakul, Ms. Stephanie Chow, Ms. Michelle Watson, Mr. Matthias Farwick, Mr. Thomas Trojer, Mr. Frenco Cheng and Mr. Mars Yip) to conduct a research project called BeaconCloud for the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service with the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China, 2008-present

• Led UOIT undergraduate students (Ms. Stephanie Chow, Mr. Ryan Bishop, Ms. Michelle Watson and Ms. Amanda Paul) and research assistants (Ms. Jordanne Christie and Ms. Yi Zheng) to launch a charity donation activity (CAD$300) at UOIT faculties to support the library development at the Dingbu Middle School, Langxi, Anhui, China, August 2007
