Xiaodong Lin received the Ph.D. degree (awarded Outstanding Achievement in Graduate Studies) in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, in 2008, and
subsequently became a postdoctoral fellow under the supervision of Prof. Xuemin (Sherman) Shen, in the
Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Waterloo,
Canada. I am currently an assistant professor of information security at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, Canada, where
I initiate and lead Computational Forensics Research Laboratory (CF Lab).

- Our paper "Secure Handshake with Symptoms-matching: The Essential to the Success of mHealthcare Social Network" received the Best Paper Award at the Fifth International Conference on Body Area Networks (BodyNets 2010) held in Corfu, Greece on September 10-12, 2010.
This is a collaborative work with Rongxing Lu, Xiaohui Liang, Prof. Xuemin (Sherman) Shen at the University of Waterloo.
